Community Information
The BVC offers visitor information services on behalf of the local community. As well as promoting local businesses to visitors, the BVC supports the community by:
- Offering voluntary work opportunities, including work-for-the-dole, work experience and work placements.
- Giving free talks to school groups on the value and effects of tourism.
- Providing the opportunity to have a say, through membership, in local tourism management.
- Displaying an events and services board, which is free to local operators.
