Problem
There was a need to take the current website and replace in a more modern Content Management System. There was a list of new business requirements that the current content management system could not achieve.
Solution
The site was re-designed by Coffs Design for site colours and graphics. The current site functionality was taken and modified to enable smoother web user interaction and appointment requests. The new solution enabled people to sign up as site members and receive a monthly newsletter by email subscription, they could also book appointment times with Ausinvent which would be tracked via a ticket numbering system. The new site enabled the required business features; listing of government events, adding of embedded flash and avi files, creation of new news items and articles, RSS feed of website updates, ease of content editing to enable word like features, easy upload of site resources.
Architecture
Drupal Six was chosen for the new site, Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP production environment established.
