Project

Out-source to In-House development transition. Upgrade of www.pinkpages.com.au from .Net and MSSQL to LAMP environment. System Architecture design for on-going in-house development environment.

Problem

Pink Pages website was developed 75% by an external out-source development house. The website was brought in-house and a LAMP development environment established.

Solution

Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP development and production environment designed and implemented. Web development team structure and team interviews. Implementation of final changes to content management functions. Creation of new smarty PHP template and addition of new features and PHP framework changes.

Architecture

Virtual environment, Linux (Red Hat Enterprise), LAMP Production and Development Servers. Technology upgrade from .net custom content management system with MSSQL to Pear framework PHP content management system with MySQL.
