Talking Geeky

I am very passionate about Information Technology and how technology can be enhanced to suit and assist the way human beings live there lives. My passion and experience in the Information Technology Industry has lead me to talking to both High School and University students about all things Geeky.

Currently running the Learning Drupal Sydney workshops. During my time at University I became involved with Southern Cross University Women in Technology program and Australian Computer Society Young IT Committee. I enjoyed my involvement with these groups as I know the difference having a support network can mean to students.

My love of technology and Open Source has lead me to providing talks at Sydney Drupal meet-ups, Bar Camp Sydney, Bar Camp Brighton, Linux Conference Australia, Pycon Australia, Geek Girl Dinners and others. Recently presenting on the Xo technology stack (One Laptop Per Child) for international audiences within the UK.

I enjoy being part of the larger Information Technology Industry and believe in giving back and supporting the industry and Open Source community projects.
