Currently undertaking a Bachelor Degree of Information Technology in Honours by Research with Southern Cross University. The area I have chosen to study is Web Site Navigation looking specifically at Cognitive Load Theory and its application during web development.
In order to manage my project I have chosen to use Google Sites and Google Blog web tools.

The research information web site has been set-up with Google sites and will allow for the collaboration of information about the project. People will be able to leave comments and contribute files on the research web site. Invited research particpaints will be allowed to contribute documents and anyone will be allowed to download them. The site will be used for supervisor and student communication of project schedules and report files.

A blog has been set-up for the easy collection of information snippets found during the course of research.
A blog was chosen as an easy way to sort through and store information snippets for quick retrieval when needed. Another reason for choosing a blog is that it can be shared to facilitate further interaction with the project supervisor, participants and like minded researchers.
