London Web Thames Boat Trip

The London web Meet-up organiser Nathan O’Hanlon decided to make the 16 September meet-up something different by holding it on a ferry as it cruised up and down the Thames.

I went with my friend Tom Bamford a fellow Drupalista. There was a presentation by Andy Hume from Clear Left about “the Progressive Web” great talk I was really impressed. There were also three shorter talks from Mozilla on HTML5 and building Mozilla plug-ins.

The cruise was great had some interesting HTML and CSS discussions and learnt some new things. Overall the night was a success and thanks to Nathan for organising. I don’t think i would have taken a boat ride down the Thames otherwise.
